What we collect
You can browse the brand directory and the free part of each report without giving us anything. We only collect personal data when you sign up or log in:
| Data | Why |
|---|---|
| Your work email address and its company domain | To create your account, confirm you own the email, and give you access to the full reports |
| A 6-digit verification code | To confirm the email is yours. We store only a scrambled (hashed) version, and it expires after 15 minutes |
| A session cookie | To keep you logged in (see Cookies below) |
| Your IP address | To limit how often codes can be requested and to prevent abuse |
| Which report you signed up from, and when you signed up, verified and last logged in | To understand which reports are useful, improve the site, and make our product and sales emails relevant to you |
We don't ask for passwords, phone numbers or payment details, and we don't use your data for automated decisions about you.
The ads shown in our reports are publicly available data from the Meta Ad Library. Arkimo is not affiliated with Meta or with the brands shown.
How we use your data
- To verify your email and give you access to the full reports.
- To keep the service secure and prevent misuse.
- To understand how the site is used and improve it.
- To email you about new Arkimo products, launches and reports.
- To contact you at your work email about Arkimo's products and services, for example to offer a demo or discuss whether they fit your business.
You can opt out of product and sales emails at any time: use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email, or write to [email protected]. Opting out doesn't affect your access to the reports, and we'll still send the emails needed to log you in.
We process your data on the basis of the consent you give when you sign up, which covers both access to the reports and the product and sales emails described above. You can withdraw that consent at any time (see Your rights). We don't sell your personal data, and we don't share it with advertisers.
Cookies
We use one cookie, al_session. It keeps you logged in for up to 90 days, or until you sign out. It's strictly necessary for logging in, can't be read by scripts on the page, and is only sent over a secure connection. We don't use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.
Who we share it with
We use a small number of service providers who process data only on our instructions:
- Cloudflare: hosts the website and stores account data.
- Resend: delivers the verification emails.
These providers may store or process data outside India, including in the United States, with safeguards required by law. We may also disclose data if Indian law or a lawful order requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep your account details until you ask us to delete them. Verification codes stop working after 15 minutes, and login sessions expire after 90 days. If you ask us to delete your account, we erase your data within 30 days, unless the law requires us to keep it longer.
Your rights
Under the DPDP Act you can:
- ask what personal data we hold about you and how we use it;
- ask us to correct, complete or update it;
- ask us to erase it and withdraw your consent;
- nominate another person to exercise these rights if you die or are unable to; and
- raise a grievance with us.
Email [email protected] from the address you signed up with. We'll respond within 30 days. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
Security
The site is served only over encrypted connections (HTTPS). Verification codes and login sessions are stored in hashed form. Access to account data is limited to Arkimo. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your data and will tell you and the authorities about a breach as the law requires.
Children
Arkimo is a business service for adults. It is not meant for anyone under 18, and we don't knowingly collect their data.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page. If a change materially affects how we use your data, we'll tell signed-up users by email before it takes effect.
